  1. Data processing by consent
Persons who are interested in SxD services are asked to give consent for us to process their personal data, for the purposes of sending them SxD’s monthly newsletter and keeping them updated on offers, services and available discounts. The types of data collected for these purposes may include name, email address, telephone, mailing address, and date of giving consent. We obtain consent by asking persons to complete a “Sign Up” form authorizing contact. This may be found here.  The form asks persons to provide their details, and indicate the ways in which they may be contacted. You may update your information at any time by clicking the link labelled “Update Your Preferences” located at the bottom of every email we send. Alternatively, you can contact by emailing info at selectionxdesign dot com to request a change to your contact authorization. If you agree to be contacted with news of offers, new services and discounts, our contact will include direct marketing. We use Mailchimp to distribute emails related to marketing.  Mailchimp provides SxD with marketing campaign analytics results, such as numbers of campaign opens or unsubscribes. If you choose to correspond further with SxD through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone. You have a right to withdraw your consent to be contacted by us by phone or postal mail at any time.  You may do this either verbally, or in writing by contacting SxD through email. The address is info at selectionxdesign dot com. Consent to be contacted by email can be revoked by using the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email SxD sends. You are always welcome to access information on SxD news, services or offers regardless of whether you consent for contact.
  1. Data processing by contract
When SxD services are purchased by a client, they enter into a contract with us. The client may be an individual, or it may be an organisation. Services include training, test sales, or any form of consultation. Private data kept for contracted clients may include name, email address, telephone, mailing address, date of contract, nature of service and status of delivery. When a customer chooses to purchase products or services from SxD, they will need to give personal information and authorization to obtain information from various credit services such as Paypal. Additional data may be generated for a client based on the nature of the contracted services.  SxD acts as a data processor for services including psychometric assessments and evaluation of training competencies. SxD does not maintain data processed for a contracted client for any longer than is necessary to complete contracted services. Clients have a right to review their personal data maintained by SxD. Requests for this may be made verbally or in writing. SxD will respond to requests within one month. In most circumstances, there is no fee for a review of personal data records.
